Powerhauz
Powerhauz is a DJ of French and Mauritanian origin. Born in Lyon, France, Gene Tolba moved to Africa at a very young age. Being exposed to African tribal music while growing up made him develop a genuine love for music and its power to make people dance. After attending various music festivals, Gene realized that while he enjoyed dancing, he would much rather make people dance. This lead to the creation of Powerhauz, a persona of raw energy that delivers groovy and fast paced beats with the purpose of making bodies move (sometimes voluntarily).
